Recipe: Steamed Shrimp with Konjac Rolls

Ingredients
- Shrimp
- Celery
- White sugar
- Oyster sauce
- Light soy sauce
- Dark soy sauce
- Thai "Three Friends" (a mixture of coriander root, garlic, and white pepper)
- Ground white pepper
- Water
- Sesame oil
- Mature ginger
- Pork fat (a small amount)
Instructions
- Wash the konjac rolls. Then, add the "Three Friends" mixture (made by pounding together coriander root, garlic, and pepper for an aromatic base), followed by light soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, white pepper, sesame oil, dark soy sauce, and water. Stir until everything is well combined and dissolved.
- Line the bottom of a pot with the pork fat and slices of mature ginger, followed by a layer of shrimp.
- Place the seasoned konjac rolls on top, and pour any remaining sauce from the mixing bowl over them.
- Cover the pot with a lid and cook over medium heat until the liquid reduces to almost dry, about 7-10 minutes.
- Once everything is cooked through, uncover the pot, add celery, and mix well. Ready to serve!
