Recipe: Japanese Curry Rice with Black Sesame Tofu

Ingredients
- Japanese curry roux
- Moki black sesame tofu
- Potato
- Carrot
- Onion
- Apple
- Water
- Chili flakes (optional, to taste)
- Cherry tomatoes (for garnish)
- Egg
- Flour
- Breadcrumbs
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a pot, sauté the potato, carrot, and onion together, then add the apple.
- Add water and simmer until the vegetables are soft, about 10 minutes.
- Add the Japanese curry roux and stir continuously over low heat until the roux is fully dissolved.
- For the Fried Tofu:Pat the tofu dry. Mix flour with cold water to create a thick batter. Dip the tofu in the batter, then coat with breadcrumbs.
- Fry the tofu in hot oil until golden and crispy, then drain on paper towels.
- To Serve: Place Japanese rice on a plate, slice the fried tofu, and arrange it on top of the rice. Pour the curry sauce over the tofu and rice. Garnish with cherry tomatoes and enjoy!
